, Red Flag Warning In Effect From Noon To 9 PM MDT Tuesday For
Portions Of South Central Montana And Portions Of North Central
Wyoming For Hot And Dry Conditions Along With Gusty Southwest
Winds,

The National Weather Service In Billings Has Issued A Red Flag
Warning, Which Is In Effect From Noon To 9 PM MDT Tuesday.

The Red Flag Warning Includes The Following Fire Weather Zones:
In Montana, 123, 126, 129
In Wyoming, 274, 284

Unseasonably Hot Temperatures And Humidities In The Lower To Mid
Teens Will Be Over The Area Tuesday Afternoon And Evening.
Southwest Winds Of 15 To 30 Mph Will Combine With The Hot And Dry
Conditions And Result In A Increase For Potential Rapid Fire
Growth. The Gusty Winds Will Decrease By Tuesday Evening With
Relative Humidities Recovering Overnight.

A Red Flag Warning Means That Critical Fire Weather Conditions
Are Either Occurring Now, Or Will Shortly. A Combination Of
Strong Winds, Low Relative Humidity, And Warm Temperatures Will
Create Explosive Fire Growth Potential.
