Default Possible move from Utah to Cheyenne

I have been through Wyoming and lived in Sheridan far a short time and love it. Is Cheyenne a great place to raise a family? My son wants to get involved in soccer, my mother needs a VA, and I would love to have open space again without listening to the din of a downtown in construction. I have looked at the Prairie View Apartments online and they seem nice. Anyone have first hand knowledge of them? I know the schools are nice (IB program, AP, music, etc). What are the real downsides to Cheyenne. If I move my family it really must be for the best. The greatest (one of many mind you) downside to Salt Lake is the fact that my son goes to a dual immersion school where no one is learning and different rules apply to different groups of people. I have a degree in Economics and have roughly 18 years of work experience (non-profits and retail). Are there jobs up that way?
