I got pulled over going through Idaho, Trooper let me off with a warning. He said if you waste any more bullets shooting out your window going 6 miles over the speed limit that i might not see the light of day for some time!
I might of been going a tad over 80 with a 75 mile speed limit.
Idaho is beautiful.
A friendly resident on the Idaho side told me that the Mormons named it freedom because they could have wives on both sides of state lines.
Heck there were no signs to the Wyoming road so he directed me.

A little more information on the name... it appears the "wives on both sides of state lines" comment is a misunderstanding, or a horney old miners tale.

Thermopolis is where they were. Now defunct.

You know I was going to say Freedom Arms too. But the info. I found said it was founded in 1978 and it gave no names for their cartridges, at least not that I was able to see. So I went searching and found info. about Linebaugh Sixguns that looked like it may be the answer the OP is looking for. Who Knows? The OP has gotten 3 different answers, all three of them could very easily be correct, but maybe the OP doesn't know it. We'll have to see which answer he was looking for.

Sounds like you worked on this one a lot harder then I did, I'd be happy and honored to give you this one. I just stumbled across my answer and really didn't have to work for it. That website you linked to had a lot more information about the company then anything I was aware of.
