I have been to Duck Lake. Lots of years ago and at that time it did have a sign. One thing I remember about it is that at that time there were lots of water lilies on it and real pretty.

There's a duck lake over in Yellowstone, but don't think you got that far going up Redgrade. haha
EDIT - I found it. It's called Duck Pond on the map.

Well this lake/pond had water lillies on it. Not all over the place, just along the edges up on one end of the lake/pond. The other ponds nearby though were just covered with water lilies. The place we were at was very pretty and had lots of big boulders surrounding the front part of the lake/pond closest to the road that the kids liked climbing on. The lilies were in bloom and very pretty.

Well Duck Pond makes more sense than Duck Lake because of it's size. It was to small to really be called a lake.
We need to get a better map for the Bighorn National Forest. There were a couple of different roads that we would like to find out where they lead to.

Try as I might, I can't find any trivia about the area that you can't readily find with Google. So....
Where is Spot's Wyoming? No, it's not a ghost town no longer on the map.

Boy, That is a tough one. I have asked several people if they have ever heard of Spot's and none of them had.
My guess is that it is either a watering hole in Campbell County, or a ranch of some sort in Sheridan or Johnson county.

I don't know either. But last winter when I called the road report they said I-90 was slick in Spots. Wanted to avoid that area.

Ha,Ha,Ha, LOL!!! That was a good one.
Hey you did ask about Teapot Dome a little earlier in the thread. Are you talking about the oil field below Teapot Rock or the Rock formation it'self?
If you are talking about the oil field, the answer is: the Government owns it and it was supposed to be for an emergent oil reserve for the Navy. President Taft laid claim to it in 1912.
