Jackson area lodging
Kind of last minute trip and having some problems finding affordable lodging in the Jackson area for 2 nights end of August. It will be 6 adults, we don't need anything fancy, just a place to lay our heads at night. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Daughter works at Snow King think they run $180+ plust there are condos think they start in the $350... there is a motel 8 in Jackson , or you could stay in Star Valley and drive the Jackson 500...

There's a rule that you can't use affordable in the same sentence with Jackson. JK - good luck SH Guru!

I think your "best bet" will be to contact the various townhome/condo rental management companies in the area for one of the "lower price point" 3 bdr condo's in the area.
Two that we've used:
Teton Village, 800-825-0329, about $335 per night for a 3 bdr, nice place
Aspens at Jackson Hole Racquet Club, about $350 per night for a 3 bdr, nice place
At least with these places you get multi bedrooms/multi baths, a nice living room, maybe even a private hot tub, and some other amenities for your stay, with a kitchen, too.
If you go the "motel 6" route, you'll still be spending $100 or so per couple per night for a cra*py small bedroom with a small refrigerator and a microwave, and no "living" space.
Might as well spend your dough on a place where you'll be comfortable and an added attraction to your stay in JH ....

Enjoy your stay in Cody, if you go thru the east gate into Yellowstone from Cody it's lovely and a quick 50 miles. One of the prettiest drives around and all new highway. Then you can drop down to Jackson.
