I've only started to fly fish. Don't know any of the names or patterns yet. I need to pay a guide to take me out for one day and maybe I can learn.

Black wooly bugger. In fact, that might be all you need unless you like to collect stuff.

damn, I got two fly's from Wal-Mart, one from K-Mart and now you guys want to name them. I called them Bill, Biff, and Bart. One is fuzzy, one works, the other one hasn't even been wet yet.

I've got a pretty yellow one and a pretty green one and one that the stupid guy said, "You really need this one." That's the one that hasn't been wet yet.

My step dad don't eat fish but he loves catch and release--I don't know what he uses but I have seen him catch 2 bookies at a time cause he uses 2 flies
Me, I need to learn to fly fish--I hate it when I am using worms and the fish are jumping

ElkHunter, get a fly vice, some hooks tread , feathers , fur and Jack Dennis fly pattern book and play around on a rainy day or this winter.
I tie a paradrake... with moose hair and grizzly hackle, that works great in high moutain lahes and the creeks on my ranch but it will not work on the river even where the creek runs in.
