What Carriers have the best coverage in the Guernsey/Torrington area?

How about "EvO" or 3G Digital/Data?

Gotta be able to Log In from my Cell until December...

Cell coverage in Wyoming has been covered in a number of threads previously. Try doing a search to read what's been said before.
From what I recall, the most popular answer has been Verizon. It's worked pretty well for me in those areas, as well as 50 or more miles in every direction from there (except north - haven't tried it up that way).

Verizon has worked for me in and around Wheatland, Douglas, Cheyenne, and Scottsbluff, in addition to Guernsey and Torrington. Once you get away from the towns in Wyoming, your coverage may diminish, but if you're close to a town, it'll probably work.

Thanks for the replies.

I did a search for "cell coverage torrington" and got nada before I posted. Thanks for the feedback on Verizon. Glad to know it. That's my current carrier.

NVDave... thanks for the link - but as someone who has worked in Cellular on and off since the Brick Phone, IMO "coverage maps" have nothing on "can you hear me now" experience.

Anybody try using Data features (Smart Phone/Tethering/DataCards) in Torrington/Guernsey?

I have a friend, who worked construction in the Torrington area, last year. He has Verizon, and had no problems, with reception, on his phone.
sorry I can't provide any help, with "Data Features".

I have a Voyager "smart" phone with internet capability that I've used all over the west, and as long as I had a cell signal, I was able to use the internet, at least everywhere I tried it. I can't remember if I ever used that feature in either Guernsey or Torrington, but I have used it in Wheatland and Scottsbluff successfully.

I know this is an ancient thread, but in case anybody is wondering...

AT&T phones work all around Torrington and Morrill. The only dead spot I had was between Hawk Springs and Cheyenne along US 85, and it was a small dead spot at that.

My AT&T aircard worked in Torrington and Morrill. In both places it took a little longer to find service, but it found service nonetheless. In Torrington it was unusually slow, but worked at normal speed in Morrill.
