Question fluffy snow in wyoming

Does wyoming have any places that are easy to get to from the airport in Denver or Salt Lake City that has thick, fresh, fluffy snow? I go to Leadville in Colorado a lot because its easy to get to from Houston only about 3 hours. The fluffy snow doesn't hurt as bad when you have a wreck because its like a pillow.

Wyoming gets lots of light powder, but it's not too close to Denver nor Salt Lake. Are you wanting downhill skiing? If so, there are plenty of good slopes near Salt Lake that get great powder.

Jackson gets a few commercial flights at its airport, and both Teton Village and Grand Targhee are famous for their powder. All you need for great powder is cold air when it's snowing, and Jackson has plenty of that on its area slopes.

The best powder skiing I've had was in Utah at Alta and Snowbird, but I'm sure it's a matter of timing. Targhee gets tons of snow each year and is a great family ski mountain.

I'm going to assume that you're going to Leadville for purposes other than downhill skiing since there's no downhill area there ...

in which case there really isn't good access to powder snow in Wyoming as there is from DIA or SLC. Your closest place in Wyoming from DIA would be north of the Red Feather Lakes area, north of Fort Collins ... which leads to the areas SW of Laramie. Cross country skiing, snowmobiling are available there.
