In Gillette for a visit and loving it! (Cody, Lander: how much, home)

My husband, 9 yo son and I are in Gillette for a site visit/job interview and I just have to tell you I love this town. Not to small, not to big, just right! (and clean) The people are very welcoming and polite. The hospitality has been wonderful after a horrible experience getting here. (but how much I now dislike American Airlines is another thread!)
We spent today hiking around Devils Tower. Wow, it is like an outdoor cathedral.
I am in very high hopes that this works out, because this "little" town seems to be a gem!!
Hopefully we will be back soon and can meet some of the great folks on this board who have been so helpful!!

this is a awesome lil town. we moved here 3 yrs ago from cheyenne and would never return to the capital city. very much enjoying the atmosphere and the friendships we are making.

Very nice to hear the positives. We are considering a move to Wyoming and Gillette is on the list as a possibility.

So happy to hear that you've enjoyed your visit. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up while you were here, but I was in Douglas for training on Thurs. & Fri., officiated volleyball until 2:00 on Sat., then we headed to Billings then Cody! Just got home tonight....in this darn snow! Hope you got (or get) our of here safely and don't get held up by the weather. It is supposed to be more seasonal by Tuesday. Best of luck with the job opportunity and we'll visit again soon!
