your not kidding there...checking the cams along I80 the summit between Che and Lara are definately the worst. Elk Mountain isn't as bad and Rawlins onward west hardly any snow. Nothing in Rock Springs.
That's what you get living so close to Colorado

And now the winds are picking up as the snowfall rate declines.
Even with the sunshine trying to peek through the thinning cloud layer, it's a blizzard outside. Snowdrifts of wind-packed snow are building up on the county roads around us, as well as on our ranch.
Should be a very entertaining evening of driving for those who attempt to go anywhere in the SE area of Laramie County. Of course, the hills west of Cheyenne are still very much under a lot of snow cover.

Take a look at the webcams at the top of this forum. Once you select any webcam you are on the state website and they list which roads are closed.
Right now, I-80 is closed. I-25 has not been closed. It's wide open. Hammer down.
