Howdy,

On 091209 I was traveling from Gillette to Big Piney via Casper, Wyoming. I was traveling with my two Norwegian Forest Cats, Buliwyf and Beowulf.
At approximately 1:00 I stopped at the Hobby Lobby located a 2911 E 2nd. I was in the store approximately 20 minutes. When I returned to my vehicle, I noticed that one of my two cats was gone. Beowulf...was missing.

Beowulf is a 12 pound tan/orange tabby with a white face, chest, belly, four white feet and tail tip. He is tattooed in both ears with green ink.
He was wearing a green nylon figure 8 harness type collar.

After a quick search of the vehicle and the parking lot I contacted the manager of the Hobby Lobby who made an announcement over the intercom. Seven witnesses confirmed that Beowulf was out of the vehicle and that there were unidentified persons attempting to capture him.

We have made all the necessary reports, Casper Police Deportment -stolen report, Casper%2

I wasn't sure what a Norwegian Forest Cat was exactly. So I looked it up here. Norwegian Forest Cat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is a photo of one that looks similar to what you described. I'm posting it as it may help someone identify your cat.

I was privileged to photograph Karen's beautiful cats last summer. Here's the pair of them. Beowulf is the one on the right. Good luck, Karen.

Try to get those pics in Casper papers, grocery stores, laundromats etc., asap. If someone becomes too attached it would reduce chances of return. I have a gray tabby one similar to top photo, they are great animals with strong personalities. - Good Luck - my thoughts are with ya.

Elkhunter....can you remove this posting? We have found Beowulf. Alive and well. He was found in N. Casper on the 011510 by JoAnn Hoff. He was in a tree outside her elderly mothers trailer. Sorry for the delayed notification. I surely do appreciate you assistance with this posting. Beowulf's Mom
