I thought it took 2 days to get to the airport when you live in Wy

were you speeding, or going 'downwind'?

haha

I'm home. That's all that's important. My daughters hate when I do what I do. My brother hates is.

But I'm home. Let it rest.

Got one shell casing. I'm good to go.

Just to let you know, Wyoming has a big problem with healthcare. Not very many doctors so it takes a while to set an appointment with one. Also, they might not take your insurance. Not much do...kind of boring. Also the state has a big meth problem. I had to move because having access to medical was very important to me.

I'm moving there too. This thread helped so thanks! Oh and TGM if you home school your kids according to a friend in the FBI you would have been put on a terror watch list. If you home school in america now, you are put on a terror watch list by the Department Of Homeland Security. Along with assault rifle owners, people that speak out in favor of the Constitution, and many others. 15,000 infants and old ladies where put on it because of their name or other stupid reason. So, if you home school, have no doubts. That scares the government now! (god only knows what your teaching those kids they think) What a country we've become. I would like to move clear out of America at this point. Where turning into something very scary over here. But in Wyoming, people have a reputation of wanting to be left alone, and they have more liberal laws than where I live now. Their definitly one of the states fighting bad laws.

I'm sure alot of us are on one government list or another. For just the things we post on the web or say over the phone. In casual conversation with our friends and relatives. Google Carnosaur Computer, it will amaze you.
I have a few lists I was told I am on. But still got a CCW, was bonded for multi millions for jobs, and passed even CIA check. For secutity purposes. Now them people dig in your undies for bad stuff to report upstairs. That made alot of my aquaintances nervous. And some are not over it now, many years later.

Thats true, and we went through this sort of thing in the 50's with McCarthyism (not as bad as this though)!, people after about 8 years got fed up and it went away. People are the boss, lets never foget it. Things are starting to swing back to more of an American way now I think. I think people are starting to realize turning America into a jail is not the answer. But anyway, the economy in my state is bad. What are some suggestions for states or cities that are doing better? I have a wife and kids. We are more into nature than busy cities, but would like to have both with good schools. I know computers and computer graphics, my wife is in child care. It doesn't have to be wyoming, we're open minded about it. Thank you for any suggestions. Now because I made that post I'm on a list I bet. Probably the best of real Americans are.

We live in Star Valley Wyoming just outside of Jackson Hole. I like the beauty and the schools are rated very high on Great Schools .net The area does not have many ammenities and you have to drive about an hour for shopping (wal mart ect...) but it is home to camping fishing and snowmobiling. Why are you moving to Wyoming? This are has a lot of pine trees and water. But is is VERY snowy. Good luck

No offense - but there is a reason why I met so many Texans who had moved when we were in WA, OR and Montana. Good for you and your family going to Wyoming. Lots of wonderful people there - good family life. Yes it will be culture shock but it will be a GOOD culture shock, I think you'll find. My sister moved with her all Texas husband to the Tetons area - and now you can't MAKE him go back home to Texas. Their entire family is thrilled with everything. You go for it. Don't listen to the naysayers back home in Houston - we are so glad we did not. We are only back here in Amarillo temporarily to sell some property ourselves. Good luck to you! May God bless your wonderful adventure in Wyoming.
