The Nws Storm Prediction Center Has Issued A
Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Portions Of

Parts Of Southeastern Montana
Northeastern Wyoming

Effective This Monday Afternoon And Evening From 105 PM Until 700
Pm MDT.

Hail To 2 Inches In Diameter, Thunderstorm Wind Gusts To 70
Mph, And Dangerous Lightning Are Possible In These Areas.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch Area Is Approximately Along And 70
Statute Miles North And South Of A Line From 35 Miles North
Northwest Of Worland Wyoming To 80 Miles East Of Gillette
Wyoming. For A Complete Depiction Of The Watch See The
Associated Watch Outline Update (wous64 Kwns Wou3).

Remember, A Severe Thunderstorm Watch Means Conditions Are
Favorable For Severe Thunderstorms In And Close To The Watch
Area. Persons In These Areas Should Be On The Lookout For
Threatening Weather Conditions And Listen For Later Statements
And Possible Warnings. Severe Thunderstorms Can And Occasionally
Do Produce Tornadoes.

...a tornado warning remains in effect for extreme west central
johnson...southeastern big horn and northeastern washakie counties in
north central wyoming until 230 pm mdt...

at 205 pm mdt...the public reported a tornado southeast of ten
sleep. This tornado was now located near tensleep canyon...or 5
miles northeast of ten sleep...moving northeast at 30 mph.

The tornado will be near...
U.s. Hwy 16 mile marker 40 around 220 pm mdt.
Meadowlark lake and u.s. Hwy 16 mile marker 50 around 230 pm mdt.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

To repeat...a tornado is on the ground. take cover now. Move to an
interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid
windows. If in a mobile home...a vehicle or outdoors...move to the
closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
