I really like the Fort Mill area, Regent Park. The newer developments are very nice and yes the old Baker complex is near that area. There are a few eye sores at the end of Regent Park but even those properties are up in value. It was my understanding that the complex has now been sold and is going to be renovated into condos and shopping centers? The homes in Fort Mill are going up in equity and selling pretty fast where as Rock Hill homes sit on the market longer. If you are looking for re-sale value down the road I would think Fort Mill is the right choice. Plus if there are kids involved down the road...the schools are great!
