Development of the Old Heritage USA
Looking for opinions on the neighborhoods in area behind NFHS. Such as Regal Manor, Baden Village, Balmoral and Fallbrook. We have a 6 year old, a 6 month old and maybe a future child! We are a young family and really enjoying being outside and hanging with the neighbors. The only thing I'm hating about moving into our first single family home is losing the neighbors we have now and would really like to have that same camaraderie. Fallbrook may be just outside of our range but what are the pro's and con's for these areas.

I live in the area, and it's a pretty quiet and nice time. People are generally really nice, and I constantly see neighbors talking and people walking with dogs, children and friends. The only thing of which to be careful is that on most of the streets in Baden Village, there are a lot of illegally-parked cars on the street, and a lot of kids that play in the street and don't seem to get the hint to move when you drive through, even at 15 mph. That's a concern. That aside, I really love it here.

Balmoral is also nice. I drive through there on occasion when heading out to run errands, or just for a quick couple of minute detour. I don't actually live in Baden Village, but also drive through there on occasion...mainly for the same reason as I drive through Balmoral. The entire area is really nice and quiet, and there's not a bad choice back here, to be honest.

I was looking at building in Balmoral, and the only thing I didn't like (beside the water tower) was the fact there were no cul-de-sacs in the area I looked. With kids that is very important. If you can try to get a house on one, do it.
