Need some hobby information...
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone might know how to find adult education classes such as photography, dancing or floral arranging. Im from Florida and they were offered at the local high schools but I cant seem to find any information here about classes. I live in Fort Mill.
Thank you in advance.

Leroy Springs Rec center has ceramic painting I think on Tuesday mornings. I was thinking of trying that out after school starts again. They also have dancing but I'm not sure if it's just for seniors or not. If they taught country line dancing, I might give it a whirl. lol My DH won't dance so I'll have to go it alone.
There is the Herb Barn out near York (I think) that offers cooking classes and gardening classes.
I am addicted to scrapbooking and still looking for a group to do that with.

Most Michael's Stores also have classes on different crafts, including floral arranging.

Hey there tiggaur - I was at the library the other day (Baxter Village) and I happen to pick up a brochure called "InSight" (A York Techincal College Continuing Education Publication) for Fall 2007. Inside the first page is an article about floral design instructor Barbara Carswell, and the program that she teaches. It states...for more details about the program contact Katie Clamp at (803) 327-8029 or kclamp@yorktech.com

Check with York Technical College and Winthrop University. They have had classes on photography, not sure on the others. Also, I think Central Piedmont Community College also has those kind of classes. I have seen ads for dance classes and I have a friend that has gotten into ballroom dancing and has even been competing so I'll see who it is that she dances with.
Michaels and the new Hobby Lobby store in Rock Hill will probably have lots of classes on the crafty stuff.
