I think it'll run you about $1200 a year for a $200K home in Lancaster County, SC. Give or take $100 or so.

That's probably pretty close. Also will depend if you are in a town or in an unincorp. area of the county (usually lower but you pay more for water, sewer, etc).

Are you serious about that quote for taxes! I need to know where you get this information from because I pay on a $200,000.00 home in Rochester, NY over $7,000.00 a year. I have been trying to find out this information for Lancaster, SC also. Please help

Just to give you a perspective a 200K home in charlotte would run you around $2500
$1200 for Lanacaster seems about right.

It's just a Fort Mill mailing address. It's not part of Fort Mill at all. All of Fort Mill and Fort Mill Twp are in York Cty. Indian Land does not have Fort Mill police or fire, nor York Cty Sheriff's or Fort Mill schools. When you cross over the county line, there's a big sign that says "Indian Land" as you leave Fort Mill Twp. I just wanted to clear it up for the OP.
