Hi- I have asked a question or two in the past regarding a property I am interested in on Haire Rd, Fort Mill. The house looks great in the photos, and the price is great as well. I can't understand why a house with an acre of land, fairly new, good price, hasn't sold. My theory is that it isn't in a "development", or HOA, and those homes seem to be a big draw. Does anyone have any opinions on this?
Thanks in advance!

Could also be that it is a double-wide.

Look at the birds eye view on bing.com maps. There's agood chance it's close to something undesirable.

Check and see whether the future Pennies for Progress by-pass might be cutting through/near that area.

If you will look at this property for sale at 2060 Haire Rd, 12 acres for $762,600. Property joins additional 20ac and 3ac tract for road frontage on the Fort Mill Southern By-Pass. I don't know the address of the house you are looking at but the by-pass could be the reason the house hasn't sold.

2060 Haire Road, Fort Mill SC - Trulia

Thank you all for the replies. Perhaps the By-Pass has something to do wit6h it- I am looking at 1952 Haire Rd. I am not sure what the By Pass means, as I am not from the area. But I am guessing it won't be so desireable to live there? Thanks again.

greenvillesc is CORRECT!

The bypass is going to run right beside the house:

So, what does that mean for a house on Haire Rd? More traffic on the road? (It looks like a dead end). I'm not too sure what the implications for the area will be. Many many thanks for all of the tips and info.

Yes, you'd be dealing with a LOT of road construction very close by, followed by a large increase in traffic and noise. The house is also a modular home.

Thank you for the reply, London. I now have another direction to go! Still planning on coming south, to Fort Mill, but not to that particular home! Thanks again.
