You may want to ask in the SC subforum of York County. But most of RH is nice. It is a moderate size city, about 80k plus, so there are some pockets of crime. It is about a 30 min drive to uptown Charlotte, w/o traffic. My gf's family has lived there for 10 years and like it.

There's relatively low crime in Rock Hill, and even then, it's largely confined to a few certain areas.

The commute to Charlotte will depend on exactly where in Rock Hill you reside. If you have quick access to one of the major thoroughfares that intersect with I-77 (e.g., Celanese Road, Cherry Road, Dave Lyle Blvd), then it will be quicker than if you resided more towards the central/west sides of the city (I-77 runs through the eastern part of the city).

This is an affordable town, definitely more so than Charlotte.

Default Moved to RH from MD

We moved to Rock Hill from MD about 2 weeks ago

So far the people have been great and it's real quiet here.

Nothing like MD....

It has a country feel close to a big city...

Closer in to downtown. None of the complexes I recommended to you are close to those areas.
