You should try The Station (Hwy. 160 @ Stonecrest - in front of Wal-Mart.
It is locally owned, has great food & good service.
The Station sends out emails on a regular basis w/ coupon specials -- if you're interested, send Debbie an email at Eatlaughenjoy@comporium.net.
ENJOY!!

Now a lot of people have spoken about the Rock Hill one here and since I had a day off and some spare time I drove out of my way over there just to try it out. The food was good but the service was lacking quite a bit. It was not too busy, the first waitress that took my order was nice and sweet, food came out in OK time but I noticed some other customers starting to wonder and fidget. When my plate came out it was kind of tossed there and that's it, kind of rushed and not a word, no one ever came by to see how it was let alone for a refill of my drink the entire time I was there. I even waited a bit extra to see if they attempted to come by but gave up without asking for a refill since I had some drinks in the truck.
Don't think I'll return to the Rock Hill location but FM get's "2 thumbs up" from me and hope to try out a bit more of the menu.

Sonny's Dutch Mill in Fort Mill is great. Best burger in Fort Mill and the onion rings are awesome. They just started serving breakfast on Saturdays and that was great when we tried it a couple of weeks ago. If they start serving breakfast every day I will be in trouble.

We like Sonny's in Rock Hill ... great hamburgers, hot dogs and onion rings.
We have been doing take-out with Hibachi Express ... Japanese Dine-In or take out on Herlong Ave in Millwood Plantation. Great food and nice people running the place. The rice bowls with shrimp sauce is delicious!

Just tried it for the first time last night...great service, reasonable price, and quite yummy. Had the shrimp - can't wait to try the chicken next!

They also have the original "The Station" in Rock Hill, in the old Gulf Station on Oakland. Great food and wonderful owners!

Thai Palace is now Lime Leaf
We ventured out tonight searching for Thai food. Thai Palace is now under new management and name. It is now called Lime Leaf Asian Fusion and did not disappoint. We had roast duck in curry sauce, pad thai and fried bananas for dessert. Servings were generous, place is clean, not crowded for a Friday night. We definitely recommend and will return.

Sorry, to be the bearer of bad news, but went on Sunday, to Sonny's in Fort Mill, SC and they had a sign on the door that they were closed as of 04/04/09, due to the bad economy. They will be missed.
