The bypass will go through Williams Road. Basically take a pencil and extend the North Springfield Pkwy (Fort Mill Elementary School and new high school on this road) through Hensley, Williams, just a wee bit of Holbrook, across Dobys Bridge onto Whites Road to the Parkway across the field through the woods.

There is a map posted in one of the Govt buildings in town. You can see the survey markers at Hollbrook and Dobys Bridge. I don't recall seeing anything on the other roads though I have never really looked for them. I will look today as I will be 'gittin out of the area via Williams Rd.

I looked closely months ago and I am 1.6 miles from Parkway as the crow flys. I haven't looked too close since.

We are building a house in Fair Oaks, Fort mill currently. I like the location of community. Just 2 miles to 77, 2 miles to carowinds, 5 miles to lake Wylie, 14 miles to uptown, 7 miles from Airport and only 2 miles to the Steele creek shopping complex where you can find all the stores, 7 miles to Pineville mall. Schools are really good. Overall, my experience is so far great with Ryan homes.

I have no idea where these roads are so I am going to take a trip out today. Thanks so much for posting. I am in WHite Grove off Doby's Bridge but am not to worried about the proximity becase I think I am on the farther away side of the neighborhood- at least I hope so.

No matter what builder you go with I recommend getting a home inspection. We bought a Saussy Burbank spec home, which we love, and Saussy was the best builder after the sale that we've ever experienced. Very professional. We love our house and have a high opinion of the builder.

But the home inspector found several issues, one very major. So I highly recommend an inspection regardless. I also recommend Carolina Building Inspectors because they did such a great job for us.

Thanks so much for the picture. It really helped it make sense to me. I think where I am located will be okay as far as noise and such.

I live in the dominion bridge SD and so far-- so good. Our home value has gone up significantly since we built here two years ago. Dealing with ryan has been extremely easy and pleasant! Our home has had a few minor problems... but ryan addressed them immediately.

Question to busybuyer: What are the specific schools that your child(ren) go to if you live in Fair Oaks? Is Fair Oaks considered Fort Mill or if not, what is the town?
