I noticed the comparison of Charlotte areas and such with where I live now in Hendersonville, TN - which only has a total list of 12 all together. I wasn't happy that I was leaving a place with less to go to a place with more - but I really don't want to be in TN anymore and my husband will make a lot more money in Charlotte. It just seems like FORT MILL is a good idea...

As long as you teach your kids about safety around strangers you should be fine whether you live in a town with 12 offenders or a city with 100s of them. Fort Mill is a GREAT town. You won't feel in danger *at all* here.

I'm not defending any of these perverts, but some states label a person who gets drunk & urinates in public as a sex offender. If a man is a flasher, which is still unacceptable behavior, it isn't the same as a predator who seeks out young children for his or her demented pleasure or a violent rapist who attacks helpless women. In many states, if you are 20 and have a 15 year old girlfriend, you can be arrested for statuatory rape, with or without a sex act, and even go to jail if the parents press charges. This can stay on one's record permanently and require registration as a sex offender. So it's a very general category. I don't have young children, but no matter where you live today, the rule should be "don't trust any strangers with your children."

Hi,

We are planning to move to Rock Hill, SC in the end of June. We would like to know more about the apartments in Rock Hill and Fort Mill especially in terms of maintenance, cost, crime rate and good elementary schools. We will appreciate very much for your information.

Thanks
