Hi all
I have been offered a job downtown Charlotte working M-F 9a till anywhere from 4-7 pm (closing times are different every day). I am currently working off hours and don't have any problems with traffic. One of the decision makers is drive time. What is the typical commute times during those hours from Rock Hill to 277N to downtown? Thanks for your help |

The traffic SOMETIMES dissipates past exit 2 north to uptown betweeb 8:30 and 9. I did Rock Hill (India Hook and Celanese) to exit 5 for about 6 weeks. It was about 30-35 minutes, using exit 2 as an alt. route to avoid traffic. I would say 45 mins, possibly an hour. The ride home usually isnt as bad.

as long as there aren't any wrecks it isn't so bad, but you may want to check out alt routes before you need them. Tryon has worked best for me in the past, so has cuting over Westinghouse to S. Blvd, but it's been a while since I've had to make the drive.
