Island Breeze Organic Market and Café will also open in August. The café is moving into the vacant corner spot at the front of the Exchange Building. It will feature organic market items including gluten-free foods, Robusto said. It will also be open to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There is also:
A & S Natural Health Store (Fort Mill, SC - off Gold Hill Rd)
Lakeview Farms Home Delivery (Fort Mill, SC - off Pleasant Rd)
Oh and for what its worth...there is also Trader Joe's now off Rea Rd (in Charlotte)....it takes me less than 20 minutes to get there from Tega Cay.
In regard to horse boarding stables...I know several that are around here...but I am not sure what you are looking for?

Trader Joe's is far from an organic and natural foods store. They sell a lot of items with artificial ingredients and preservatives while carrying only a very small selection of organic foods. That being said, the organic items they carry are usually cheap.

I am a bit biased since I work pt at Earth Fare. However, I shopped at earth Fare long before I worked there, along with the other little local places. I like EF because I can actually 'grocery shop' there and get most things I need. I do like some things at TJ's, like the frozen Jasmin Rice (no preservatives in that) and the wine of course.

And southpark isn't that much farther (time wise) of a drive than Carolina Place mall for much of Fort Mill, well during non rush hour times anyway.
Yes, several of us are very excited about the Organic market going in. I am not sure exactly what they carry though. I don't eat only organic, mostly just the food I buy at home and I am not as strict about it as I am for my son. I don't think Trader Joes has any better organic stuff than Harris Teeter or Lowes Food Stores does but I've never shopped in one so I am not positive on it. Target isn't too bad either. I like Earthfare but it is just too far away, hence why I would love one here. I like to pop by the grocery store several times a week and get fresh meat and produce on my way back to the house. I'm not going to spend several dollars in gas to do the same thing.

I work at the Earth Fare in South Park and w/out traffic it takes 22 minutes to my home in Ft Mill (it's a really easy drive with not many traffic lights). I do drive right past the one in Ballantyne on my way though. I don't eat only organic either though. I eat a decent amount of it and I eat a lot of 'natural' stuff which is open to your own interpretation. For me, it basically means consuming stuff with ingredients I can pronounce HT probably carries a wider selection of organics than TJ's(TJ's does not carry a single organic salad in Charlotte), but TJ's organics are very cheap.

Yes, I get 20% off of everything, including sale items I also get 50% off the salad and hot bar when I work long enough to get a lunch break. I work at the South Park one because it's closer to my full time job and still not a long drive to my house, especially at 11pm when there isn't traffic.

There is absolutely nothing in Charlotte for you? Has the school district given you any ideas?

No after school programs in the county (or state).
There is respite...but that is not what I need.
I need something like a child care facility for special needs kids that is for all ages.
