Not sure if it was the cold or my neighbor who has trouble parallel parking but my mailbox became forcibly separated from its friendly post last night. The mailbox is metal/cast iron, and I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a local handyman who could do some light welding work. Based on mailboxes that I have repaired, it may be possible to drill through the box and the post. Then you can simply use screw bolts to re-attach the mailbox.

Ended up going with Sam's Ornamental Iron (Sam's Ornamental Iron-Welding in Fort Mill, SC | 187 Sutton Rd S, Fort Mill, SC) - (803) 548-0495. Nice guy running a local family business (hes off Sutton Rd). He came over the next day and welded it back together and painted it for half the price of a new one.
