Anyone have a reference for a company that sprays for the weeds on your lawn? I'm looking at a Scott's flyer and figure it is around $35 a treatment - 7 times a year.
I have bermuda grass.

I use Scotts, they do a good job as long as you stay on them if it rains after an application. I've had TruGreen in the past too, with good results - but their local rep is obnoxious and would not stop calling our house trying to sell us services. They are also nearly $25/treatment higher than Scotts with no noticeable difference.

My experience is that they're both a waste of $$. I had Scotts at my house and they basically did nothing to help my lawn. $30/service which meant that every time they came that's what they charged, whether it was spreading $2.00 worth of lime on my lawn or whatever. They did nothing for my weeds or grass. I now go to Lowes and by the Scott's treatment and spread it myself with better results.

When they have the "salesmen" wander aimlessly through the neighborhood knocking on doors undercutting the other "Wow, you have Trugreen? They charge $25.00, I'll do it for $20.00" it unnerves me.

I went to both web sites and entered my info for a free analysis, and TruGreen called me back within an hour. I still haven't heard back from Scotts, 5 days later. I had a quote from TruGreen and compared it to the prices listed on the Scott's site, and they were initially higher at first glance. Then I found out TG includes grub and armyworm treatment, and Scotts charges extra for these services. So it ended up being about the same.
TG has a satisfaction guaranteed, so I don't know why you didn't see any results Jake.

I am doing my own lime treatment, but my bermuda lawn has some weeds that did not respond to my 2 treatments so I'm giving them a try for the first year. We'll see how it goes. People in my sub use them and their lawns look nice - although they have fescue so it only looks good 4 months of the year.

We used TruGreen in Atlanta and were very satisfied with them. Give them at least a year. It took that long for us to see results.
