Cost of cable and internet (costs, cities, cheaper)

Could anyone give me some insite on cost of cable and internet service? DSL or cable, looking for basic cable and how many channels?

Check comporium.com for cable and internet rates - I was able to find exactly what we needed to price it out before we moved. I can't answer how many are considered "basic" - I think it's around 13 but I'm not sure.

"Basic" cable is 22 channels and costs about 12.00. Analog cable is 61 channels and costs about $44. Digital adds about 60 more channels and costs about $13 more. There is a slight difference in these costs inside the various cities ( a little cheaper). DSL or cable internet is $44. You can bundle phone, internet, wireless, cable, security, with Comporium and save $5 on each service--for a total savings of $25. The nice thing, everything is on one bill!
