Here's what I wish would happen. The "local" company Tenet Healthcare from Dallas, TX loses their case. CMC builds the Ft. Mill hospital. Piedmont loses a lot of business, and then decides to sell their hospital to Presbyterian. Then we would have both of the good healthcare systems from Charlotte in our community.

So Piedmont has basically said in so many words that they cannot compete with another hospital and that they are not willing to invest so that Piedmont would be competitive with said competitor. It is really pathetic
Administrative Law Court Judge Phillip Lenski also denied PMC’s request for a summary judgment that argued CHS didn’t have the authority to build a hospital in South Carolina. That motion was filed last week.
I wanted to make you aware that just as Ms. Lucas let you know back on February 19th that the trial on this matter did, indeed begin yesterday. It is scheduled for the next 4 to 6 weeks. Thanks and hope all is well.
If what really took place like how the article described, Piedmont is acting like a spoiled child. It is actually hilarious. Cut services.... Hahahahaha.... Since we won't be able to compete...hahahahahaha.
