I am looking to buy a townhouse in the Cole Creek subdivision in Fort Mill, SC. It's very near the flea market. Any feedback on that area - should I be concerned about the flea market within a stone's throw from the subdivision.
What about the HOA and the managing company of the development? Seeking your advice and input please.

My mom has lived here for seven years. Her only complaint was that condo/townhomes originally were all owned by non renters. She's seen the people moving in and doesn't necessarily mid but she'd like to talk to the people currently in her section of the development. Most come home, walk the dogs and say little.HOA fair at doing the outsides but rarely if ever clean out the gutters......Noise from flea market not really an issue but is busy on RT 51 on weekends....625 Rock Lake Glen

Bumping this up. As I browse the web for rentals regularly because our lease is up and we have no idea how much longer our landlord will allow us to live here, I am noticing a lot of rentals available in this subdivision. And it seems they don't go quickly. Is there a reason? I have driven through there several times and it seems to be more of a rental community now. I'm just wondering why they don't lease as quickly as some of the other rentals I see listed. I am interested because the rental prices are much lower than what we've been paying in the townhome subdivision where we currently live. And I would much rather live in a townhome than an apartment. We will need to rent for 2 more years before we are able to purchase a home and I'm thinking paying a lower rent price will free up some money for another car purchase as well.

Isn't there a ratio of renters/ owner's in this complex? .. and if so then that cap may have already been met.. I plan to contact AMG this Monday morning for answers as I do have a buyer looking to purchase here. This is a very unique community with the rock quarry view & pool to enjoy along with a really nice location in SC.

I think there is a higher percentage of renters in there now. We did not end up renting in there, nor would I purchase in there. It's a little sketchy and I don't like the location with traffic by the flea market.

Default Any updates on traffic/clientele in Cole Creek

This thread is helpful, but dated. I’m looking to buy a townhome in Fort Mill and am coming in from out of state with a child. Is the Cole Creek community desirable or is it now mostly renters? Is the proximity of the flea market a problem? Don’t want to buy a property that winds up being a disappointment. TIA.
