Sounds doubtful that anything will go to the residential end of the community

It seems it's only the City of RH too. You notice the City of RH and the companies attorneys spent YEARS negotiating the agreements!!!!

I was hoping someone else had heard of these companies. I didn't even know Duke Energy was in the telecom business. Is the TW Telecom affiliated with Time Warner?

The reason no company will enter our 'sacred' domain is the state law, telecommunication companies are responsible for expenses related to their portion of utility poles or infrastructure in the public right of way. Comporium is not going to share and a company doesn't want the expense of new infrastructures.

You can see the city will charge a new company so much per pole and the annual fee for right-of-way and I know they can't touch Comporium's equipment without paying usage fees.

Navacore is just the successor of CETLink and FlashLink (and RMSOnline I think) based on the owners listed for the corporation. I wouldn't expect anything to appear here for residential because it isn't profitable enough for them

My first internet provider was Cetlink, 56k modem dial-up and it was great. They later added DSL and I never had any problems. Local tech support or you could walk in their location and get help. But, like you posted residential wasn't profitable enough since they bought the time and lines from Comporium.
