We just moved to Knightsbridge and I have no idea who to contact about trash pickup. Does anyone here have any advice/recommendations?

Thanks!

MWSI is what were going to use. However, the East York County Convenience Center is less than 2 miles from us, so we use that for dropping off trashand recycling. Most places like MWSI don't take recycling at York County will accept everyhting. So since we use the CC for recycling anyway, we drop off our trash at the same time. There is another CC on HWY 160 near Baxter Village.

I'm in Knightsbridge and I use Signature Waste. They just got the city of Tega Cay contract, so they are growing in the area.

No, they don't. But, you can take your recycling to one of the York County collection centers, such as the one by Baxter Village.

We're with MWSI and they do take recycling. At least, we put ours out on trash day and upon arriving home that night the recycling is gone. So SOMEONE takes it on trash day, and our service is MWSI.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought I read in their literature that they did not take it. I still use the CC because they take things that you can't put in a recycling bin such as used oil filters, textiles, etc.

We only put out glass and plastic bottles, as well as boxes and newspapers. But they always get taken. We put them on the opposite side of our driveway so they are not accidently mistaken for regular garbage.

Thanks for the recommendations. We went with MWSI because they are less expensive and they do recycling (I think they said it was an agreement with either the city or county). I think they are also who the previous owners of our house used.
