I read in the Fort Mill paper last night about a new councilman that was voted in, and only 1 or 2% of the voters turned out. I didn't even know about the election.
This new councilman is a former home builder and now in real estate. If we keep voting in people like this, we will never manage our growth. In my opinion, home builders and real estate agents have the most to gain from uncontrolled growth in the short term.
Am I wrong to think this councilman can do more harm than good with our current problems?

Well, you could always write a letter asking him to put his profession aside when working on behalf of Fort Mill, and consider NOT encouraging overgrowth and building until the roads are improved.
