We are moving to Lake Wylie and am having trouble finding a Pre-K program for my son to attend. We went to the only preschool I have come across in Lake Wylie, The Giving Tree, and they said their program is full. Additionally we went to Crowder's Creek Elementary and they said their program was full. I then went to TutorTime in Steele Creek and they wanted $227/week which is out of our price range.

If anybody has any other suggestions, we would appreciate it. It must be a full-time program as both parents work full-time. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem but I'm in FM and I'll be working in Matthews, a lot of them are way out of my league price wise or have waiting lists

I have a friend whose children go to Christ the King Church preschool, it's across the bridge but probably on your way to work.

We love Lake Wylie Lutheran. They are fantastic and not overly expensive. I have no idea if they are full or not, but check into them.

I have heard nothing good about Lake Wylie preschool. I heard they have many problems and big teacher turnover.

Fredsc- I actually teach at Lake Wylie and have been there for 8 years now. I'm sorry to hear you have heard negative feedback. It's a great place, we treat every child and their parents as our own family.

Nickalina- unfortunately we are only a half day program. Best of luck on your search.
