Anyone have any recommendations on furniture stores in the area?

Are you talking antiques, or big box stores?

There are plenty of big box furniture stores in Pineville - Rooms to Go, Ashley Furniture, Value City Furniture, Havertys, Bassett. Plus many others.

In Fort Mill there is Kimbrell's, Nest Furnishings, Tyndall.

As for antique shops, Pineville has a cute main street section with a few antique shops there just after you cross the railroad tracks.

Hickory, NC is just an hour's drive from Fort Mill and the Furniture Mart has just about any kind of furniture that you could want. They are almost always having some kind of sale and the prices and quality, IMO, are much better than you will find at the big box stores in Pineville. We have furnished most of our home from the Furniture Mart and have been very pleased with all of it.

I like to wander through Factory Outlet World. You can find some good deals there.

May want to check if Furniture Outlet delivers. That's the only downside for me when buying furniture. I don't have a vehicle large enough nor the manpower to unload or assemble.

We've gotten a few good things from Farmers on Cherry Road in Rock Hill.

Also gotten a few things from White Tiger in newport... this one tends to be repaired pieces, overstock, etc.

There are some other stores but I forget the names... one across from the post office downtown, one on Cherry Road in the commons (same shopping center as EarthFare).
