What are some country towns that are within 15-20 min of Lake Wylie, Tega Cay, or Fort Mill?

Thank you!

They aren't called anything - they are still York and Rock Hill. Just tell any realtor you talk to that you want country, not suburb. They'll know where to take you (and where not to take you).

I don't know too much of the area outside of South Charlotte or Fort Mill, but have you looked around Gastonia or Belmont? My husband's co-worker lives outside of Belmont and love it. They own about 3 acres and they too are really active. They are very close to the White Water Center and they aren't far from Crowders Mountain and Kings Mountain. They love it out there because the traffic isn't nearly as bad to get into the city from I-85, like it is coming from the north side off of I-77. It could be a good place to start!

I saw pictures online of Belmont and thought it looked like a cute town. I will have to look into it more!
