Temporary Stay Housing around Kershaw (Lancaster, Camden: rental, how much, mobile home)

Hello All

We are relocating to the Kershaw area due to a job transfer. We will be purchasing a home, but are looking for a short term rental (6-8 weeks) in the mean time. I would appreciate any help. I am trying to get things set up there and I am in Lincoln, NE. I grew up in a small town in MS and I know that finding a place is all about who you know, so any ideas would be great! A mobile home or apt - basically anything that we can use for about 6 weeks. We are willing topay up to 1500 a month, the closest thing I have found so far was in Camden, Thanks!

Is your job in Kershaw and are you looking to live in Kershaw, or is it around the vicinity? It might help if you provided details (commute preferences, etc.) as people might be able to offer options besides Kershaw.

Just throwing around a couple of ideas your way....you might contact some local realtors in the area (for example: Southern Properties Realty is right there in Kershaw...realtors will often times know of places to rent in the area). Or you may look for something in Lancaster, SC. You can view the Lancaster News online (Lancaster News Online) and look under classified section. Not sure how much luck you will have looking for a short term rental...but I wish you the best!
