Recommendations for apartments in Rock Hill? (North: apartment complex, to rent, crime) - Rock Hill - Fort Mill - York - Tega Cay - Lancaster - City-Data Forum

My brother-in-law is moving to Rock Hill and needs a recommendation for a decent apartment complex. They want to rent before deciding where to buy. He has a three year old so obviously the standard wanting a good safe environment is important. A townhouse would be nice. Their budget is probably in the $600 - $800.

I would suggest Brookstone, Cowan Fams, Manchester Village Apartments, or my former complex Paces River.

I am an apartment manager in Rock Hill. I do not have any vacancies at this time. If they would like a townhouse (has an upstairs and downstairs) I would try Carolina's Crossing. It's convenient to I-77. You can find information on apartmentfinder.com. The zip code is 29732. Also, they City of Rock Hill police department can provide them with a record of police calls to the community to help determine crime in the area.

If you are looking for an Affordable Housing community, I manage the best community in town. We have income limits (example: 2 person household cannot gross over $30,900). It's a clean, beautiful property one mile from Northwestern High School, called Cardinal Pointe. We are tucked away off the main road in a tranquil wooded setting. We offer 1, 2, or 3 bedroom apartments. We are very small (only 64 units) so our availability is limited. You can check every 30 days to see if we have a vacancy.

Hi GirlTravels,

Here are some of the ones I recommend checking out in RH. Legacy at MV has already been mentioned above. These are full service apt. complexes, new to brand new.

Legacy at Manchester Village - near exit 79 on I-77, good location for working RH or (esp.) I-77 commuters.

Bradford Park - near exit 79 on I-77, good location for working RH or (esp.) I-77 commuters.

Whisper Creek - more of an intown RH location, in a nice area, just off Herlong, near the Medical Center.

I am also moving to the area soon, I am checking out Gable Oaks Apts. The lady, Jennifer, I talked to was SUPER nice and the apartments look nice as well (the floorplans do, they didn't have pics of the inside). They have a 1 BR studio for $500, 1 bed 1 bath for $520, 2 BR 2 BTH for $630, 3 BR 2 BTH for $730. They are pretty good sized, and the complex has a pool, picnic area with grills, fitness center, pets are allowed, deposit is between $100-$250, application fee is $45 for one person or $60 if you are married. You just have to make 3 times your monthly rent (your gross income). I have also looked at Carolina Crossing which look very nice, they have about the same ammenities as Gable Oaks. Hope this helps!
