Interesting, but I have never heard of the Leapfrog Group.

3 local hospitals get 'C' grade | WCNC.com

All the way at the bottom you can click for a link to other hospital grades. Piedmont Medical received an "A" maybe Leapfrog belongs to PMC.

Ha. Novant and CMC both get Cs and PMC gets an A? Yeah, something suspicious there FOR SURE.

That is why I thought perhaps PMC owns the company that prepared the report.

Piedmont is owned by Tenant, which is actually a big hospital network. Just not too big around here.
