Can anyone give feedback on Whitley Mills neighborhood? Family oriented? Resale values? Proximity to shopping and Charlotte? Clemson fans

I have friends that live there that love it. Most neighborhoods in FM are family oriented, have good resale value, are close to shopping and Charlotte. YMMV with Clemson fan percentages.

I would suggest you make sure that you request a copy of the CC&R's for the HOA if you are looking to purchase a home in Whitley Mills. We looked in there almost 5 years ago and after going through the CC&R's for the HOA we took Whitley Mills off our list of neighborhoods for the real estate agent to show us homes for sale.


For us the CC&R's were just too restrictive as to what they allowed or what you had to get permission to do to your own home then we were comfortable with.
