Nice to see Lancaster is getting some new business on the railroad. First was Plains Propane in Pleasent Hill. Now is the new plant coming to the old Joslyn Clark Plant on Meeeting Street. A three spur rail line can be seen on the right hand side of the plant. MAKROchem, a supplier of carbon black for the rubber and tire industry, is investing $7.5 million in its first U.S. distribution facility, creating 20 jobs in Lancaster. I am guessing they will ship cars out to Giti Tire, but it's possible some will ship offline.
