We are having an awful time with our community HOA management company. I wish I could say it's as simple as, "I get too many weed notices" but it goes beyond homeowner complaints. Our HOA management team doesn't communicate properly with our residents, and issues that could have been taken care of early on are blowing up into huge, awful community problems. We complain about the same things year after year (speeders in our neighborhood - we need speed humps, pool maintenance, a parking/towing issue in the townhome section, etc.), and every year, we have the same problems.

I'm looking for an HOA management company that takes a proactive communication approach with residents. A company who doesn't hide from residents when they get an email or phone call. A company who believes in service. Is this possible in the Carolinas? I moved here from another state and our management company had a dedicated property manager to manage resident complaints/inquiries. It's really that simple...if we had someone dedicated to listening to our residents and replying to them like they are human beings, half of our problems would be solved. The current company only jumps when the Board tells them to, and our Board is going to be subject to a lynch mob soon if we don't turn this train around.

Mill Creek Falls, in Clover just changed management companies. I don't know anymore about why. But they did do a search for new companies to take over. Here is a link to their web page.
