Hello can someone tell me which of these subdivisions is nicer? I have seen homes I can afford in both. Any info would be appreciated. Not looking to spend more than 250K. Welcome to more suggestions.

I personally have not seen Pheasant Ridge, but I have been by Bethelfields.

Are there other things you are looking for in a subdivision? For example will you need to commute for work, do you have children?

....For example Bethelfields would be a a closer commute if your work is located in Charlotte, NC...and Bethelfields is assigned to the Clover School District.

No children so I am not too worried about school districts. More or less just looking for a safe neighborhood with nice homes.

Bethelfields is in York but borders the unincorporated town of Lake Wylie. You're much closer in to conveniences, but I don't know where Pheasant Ridge is either. Bethelfields is about 3 miles from a new Lowe's Home Improvement and Super Wal-Mart. I do think Bethelfields has a small pool and playground. It surrounds a cow farm which I have heard, the owners aren't selling to anybody so that preserves some green space nearby. Not sure if there's any smells or anything but I haven't ever seen more than 30 cows anyhow so I'm sure they own them for a tax break.

Pheasant Ridge is in the city of York, right on the 321 Bypass. That's about as much as I know about it. Bethelfields is a lot bigger. I have only driven past both of them. Bethelfields is more suburban and convenient to Charlotte, whereas Pheasant Ridge isn't too far from York's retail area either.
