I really loved the house the second we walked inside it, but we weren't sure if we could afford it.

Finally, our house in Tennessee sold but we took a bath on it and had less down payment money.

But, the seller was really great about it and helped us a lot and now we're looking to close on April 9th or sooner.

I'm really excited about it! I would have been okay living in Fort Mill in a regular subdivision but...the whole aura and atmosphere of Tega Cay is just so freakin' awesome. My mother and brother came this weekend to look at the house and the area and they were floored. I told them they had to see it to really believe it! I think my mother wants to move here now too. LOL
Congratulations! Tega Cay is a neat little town. It does have a great feel to it.

You either do comporium, or go to a dial up.......They have Rock Hill and Fort Mill tied up. No chance of anyone else coming in......

I have heard that TW is DBA under Comporium in certain areas. I spoke with a TW rep and they stated small locations do in fact have Time Warner but were showing up as businesses.

Time Warner is available in the Indian Land area of Lancaster County, which has a Fort Mill address. Comporium is also available there, however, TW is NOT available in the FM portion of York County. For the life of me, I can't understand people continuing to complain about how expensive Comporium is. Time Warner is more expensive than Comporium in every category, and their bundling plans bring down the cost even more. Many, if not most, people in Indian Land use Comporium over TW because of lower costs.

I live in Tega Cay and we have DirectTV and Vonage phone service. We try to stay away from Comporium as best as we can, just internet with them, that's all.

I agree. I had bundled services for both and definitely prefer Comporium over TW. Comporium's help desk people were a lot more responsive (I've tried internet & phone help) than TW. I know when I had TW, I easily spent 3 hours to try to get Netgear to work properly on 4 computers! Their online facility for Roadrunner support loops you over and over that I can't really figure out who I'm talking to - TW or Roadrunner. We're not too much of a TV family, but the savings add up when all services are bundled, including alarm monitoring. I do feel though that their LD is outrageous compared to our SBC/AT&T/Bellsouth package in the northeast.

Hmm based on this old article they are there in fort mill.

I will have to look it up but TWC in some areas are DBA Comporium if I recall. The best way is to do a docket search under the public utility website.

What I am about to say ONLY applies to the town of Fort Mill, Fort Mill Township, and Tega Cay......We can NOT get Time Warner for residential purposes (within these 3 areas...it is only avail. for business purposes).

It's not right due to Indian land using a Fort Mill address, though it has nothing to do with Fort Mill. The only zip codes that are Fort Mill and Fort Mill Twp are 29708 and 29715. TWC is available in Indian Land, which is in a different county. The article does not state that it is business service only, but it is.
