Cable/internet/phone Service In Tega Cay? (Fort Mill: for sale, work)

Is comporium the ONLY thing a person can use if they live in TEGA CAY?

Are there ANY other options for cable/internet/phone?
Can you get DirecTV?

yes you should be able to get direct tv and or dish network. Unfortunately comporium is the only game in town....boy do I miss on demand.....

WOW. Their prices seem ridiculous compared to the package deals I've had before with other companies. I suppose they are fully aware they are "the only game in town" then...taking advantage of people. I hate that.

Wekcome to the neighborhood! Yes, I have been amazed by the cost, just today we were talking about getting vonage. We are seriously considering it! We do have direct tv but between internet, phone and direct tv we are paying about 75% more then we paid up north for the same services, BUT we don't have On Demand which we used all the time!

We love it here though, so all in all it is a great place to live.

We have comporium for internet and cable. I use vonage for phone. Have used vonage for 5 years... Its OK. But if you have 2 computer on the internet the service can get a little choppy sometimes. You just cannot beat 34.99 and month for unlimited calling...

I agree the neighborhood is awesome - totally worth it.
We are having the house inspected on Wednesday so hopefully all will go well and we can get this thing moving pretty quickly!

Funny thing is - I've been back and forth about this for MONTHS, and finally decided to just buy the dang house I wanted in the FIRST place. lol

Vonage is a good idea - I've used it before in TN. Not bad.

Just curious where you ended up buying? I know you were going back and forth on a few locations a while back.

That is good to know and something to consider. We are computer junkies (kids included) and usually have several computers online at once.

We are buying a house on Tana Tea Cir that has been for sale forever.
I really loved the house the second we walked inside it, but we weren't sure if we could afford it.

Finally, our house in Tennessee sold but we took a bath on it and had less down payment money.

But, the seller was really great about it and helped us a lot and now we're looking to close on April 9th or sooner.

I'm really excited about it! I would have been okay living in Fort Mill in a regular subdivision but...the whole aura and atmosphere of Tega Cay is just so freakin' awesome. My mother and brother came this weekend to look at the house and the area and they were floored. I told them they had to see it to really believe it! I think my mother wants to move here now too. LOL
