From the district website it appears that if your neighborhood school has a freeze (and it lists three elementary schools that do) you go to another Fort Mill School? Is that true or do you go to a different district?
Is this an issue to be concerned about now or down the road?
We just voted a bond package... There are 2 elementary schools that are going to open in 09. You will stay in the district just be rerouted to Fort Mill elementary or Riverview...There is a plan in place...
Does anyone know how it works if you are a teacher at one of the schools but live in another area of Fort Mill? Can my children attend school with me? I have a 5 and 7 year old who will be in Kindergarten and 2nd grade. Thank you

Yes, you do have the option of having your children attend the school where you will be working, or having them attend their home school. The only thing I am not positive about....is if there is an enrollment freeze at the elementary school you will be working at....I am not sure if your kids will be able to attend or not?
Besides calling to the school...you might also be interested in the school district website (as there is some new information in regard to repopulating frozen schools)
I am a special education teacher......I have been a stay at home mom for 4 years though. I am really excited to get back into teaching. There is not a specific school I am interviewing for at this time. I will know more Thursday. Are you a teacher?
