Red Bowl coming to Rock Hill!
Red Bowl Asian Bistro is opening up a new location at Celanese and India Hook in Rock Hill (in the Northwood Square/Harris Teeter plaza area). A gentleman at the FM Red Bowl indicates it will most likely be open by the end of the year.
Yum-my!

Yes, my faince's parents (who live in Rock Hill only about .5 miles from there) just told us about it. We often go to the one near Tega Cay. Both will be about the same distance.
The No 1 kitchen is pretty good for takeout too.

Hey Groove, thanks for the tip and now I'm wondering if the No. 1 on East Main in RH is the same owners/food as the No 1 you mention above. I found a listing online for two No 1s, and this second one is nearer to us, so it started me wondering. I'll have to check it out.

Red Bowl in Rock Hill has finally opened! (Celanese Rd/161 and India Hook, near Harris Teeter) Tried to go last week, but the wait for a table was too long. Went back earlier this week and was much more reasonable now that the initial "new restaurant novelty" has worn off. Great food (like the Tega Cay location) and great service during our visit. Didn't try the sushi this time, but what I saw of it looked very well prepared. Got the Spicy Thai Basil Chicken, and my son had their stir-fry. No complaints, but we both added some Sriracha to spice things up a bit. Also got an order of Singapore Noodles to go, which turned into dinner for 2 the next night.
