Default Old Orchard vs. White Grove

I am still doing my research online (can't get there until late May) and I have found 2 subdivions that interest me. Any feedback on pros/cons of Old Orchard and White Grove? Who owns all that land behind White Grove? Anyone know how it is zoned? Thanks in advance!

sixinthefamily is on a distinguished road
HI- I live in White Grove and can answer your questions. I feel really stupid saying this but when we bought our house here we did not realize it was such a big neighborhood ( we saw it online and flew down for 6 hours and bought it) . There are 352 homes and is very spread out- almost like 2 or 3 sections. I am not trying to make it sound bad because I love it but you had asked about the land near it. I think it is being devloped as residential/comerical but unless you live in the section toward the back left you would not have any idea it is there. My experince with the neighbors has been great. The day we moved in I had two neighbors bring dinner, another dessert and someone else actually hop on the truck and help us unpack. Everyone seems to be just like us and have moved here from elsewhere. We have become a family to each other helping out when someone is sick, out of town and so on. There are tons of mature tree's and walking trails as well as two ponds that are stocked for fishing. There are neighborhood Easter egg hunts, adult nights out and so on. If you have kids one of the big perks are all teh fabulous babysitters. If you would like to chat off line just PM me and I would be happy to give you a call. To look at what is on the market in out neighborhood go to Allen Tate Family of Companies and seach by neighborhood. Two new houses just went on that look awesome. One has a pool and overlooks the bigger pond. Also our HOA dues are very low compared to many places.

Good luck in your house hunt.
