Question York or Lancaster county?

Hi, I looked at a subdivision called Edenmoor next to Millbridge. I know Millbridge is North Carolina. We want to be in South Carolina. I think it is located in Fort Mill, Lancaster County. I Look on a map and am completely confused of where Fort Mill is and where Lancaster and York Counties start and stop. I also have heard there are many Zip Codes? Any help would be appreciated.

Here are some past threads you may want to read thru having to do with Edenmoor.

Edenmoor is located in Indian Land, SC (Lancaster County). The Indian Land schools are within the Lancaster School District.

Indian Land, South Carolina - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A good rule of thumb...No where along 521 does Fort Mill, SC touch. If you go to Mapquest and input driving directions from Fort Mill, SC to Lancaster, SC, then zoom into level 9. You should be able to see a little strip of land that sits between the North Carolina stateline and York/Lancaster County line....that would be Indian Land, SC (which is an unincorporated portion of Lancaster County).

Indian Land, SC does not have their own Post Office but uses Fort Mill's. Zip codes that are used in Indian Land, SC are 29707, and 29715 (which a portion of Fort Mill uses as well).

Fort Mill, SC is located in York County

Hi.
Yes the previous info is correct. You can also go to Edenmoor.com or GS Carolina.
GS Carolina has a link also. we are moving to edenmoor this summer.
It is off Jim wilson road. Pulte is also down the road its called carolina lakes
that is a nice sub division it is filling up. Millbridge is awesome they also have a site.
If u are going to edenmoor , be advised it is going to take a couple of years to get on its feet. for us we didnt care.

Good luck and have fun!

Default Another thought...

If you are only looking at new construction and want Fort Mill, also consider Massey.

Fort Mill (YORK County) has much better schools. Tops in the state of SC. Don't be confused about Indianland (Fort Mill LANCASTER County) or mislead.

Nothing wrong with Lancaster County...I am talking about the better school system!

GOOD LUCK!
