Question Fort Mill SC

Hi ~ We are in the process of relocating and would like any info on Fort Mill, SC. There is a subdivision named Brookshare and there seems to be many homes listed there....does anyone know anything about this subdividision? Is it a good area? Also, how far of a drive is it to Charlotte? Are there any subdivisions we should also be looking at? Our price range is about $200,000.00, we want a community pool, we have no children in school, and only need a small amount of property, backyard to fence in for our 2 beautiful dogs. Any info is greatly appreciated.

hey there dave&micki - Fort Mill is a great town...But I did want to let you know that if you are looking at Brookchase....it is Not located in Fort Mill, SC. In fact it is in Indian Land, SC (Indian Land does not have their own zip code so they use one of Fort Mill's 29715) yet since they use a Fort Mill zip code they will have a Fort Mill address (confused yet ).

I bring this up due to the fact that you were asking about property taxes in another one of your posts. While Indian Land is also a very nice area (rapidly expanding) your taxes will not be the same rate as Fort Mill. This area would fall under Lancaster County just as the schools would too.

Good Luck with your search!
