Default Lake Wylie lake levels?

We currently live in ATL and are dealing with the drought and Lake Lanier. Lake Lanier still looks like a disaster zone the water is so low (still 10-13' below full).

Potential move to CLT and we will consider Lake Wylie homes. What is the status of the lake level and has it been as bad as the lakes in GA?

thx

We were out boating recently, and the lake looks normal to me. All the ramps are open. Last year all of them were closed due to low water levels. It looks MUCH better this year.

Duke Energy shows it is at normal level.

We are still in a severe drought with water restrictions and the lake level is currently good but there is a lot of water pulled from it - it got really bad last summer.

I don't think it as bad as Atlanta but the area has grown so rapidly and there is so much demand for the water I am sure it is a matter of time before we say "hindsight is 20/20]

We currently are in a Stage 3 drought....while the lake levels appear to be fine now...we clearly are not out of the woods yet. We are already below our normal rainfall this year, and with the summer heat fast approaching....it is possible we could have a repeat of last year? In Tega Cay our water restrictions were recently eased up a bit (we are now able to water lawns, wash vehicles, etc. one day a week-based on odd or even addresses). The Catawba-Wateree Drought Management Advisory Group will be reviewing our current water restrictions again on June 30th.
